There's something incredibly satisfying about refreshing your look just in time for summer—and that's exactly what my bombshell client came in for. Her goal? A subtle but impactful glow-up: to refresh her existing highlights while adding more brightness around her face with a beautiful, bold moneypiece, with a golden blonde hue.

I started by assessing her current hair color and the grown-out highlights that needed a lift. To maintain the health of her hair while achieving a fresh, dimensional blonde, I used Paul Mitchell Synchrolift+ in combination with 10 volume and 20 volume developers. This allowed for me to create maximum brightness near the face and a more blended, seamless transition throughout the rest of her hair.

I focused the lightest pieces around her face, with soft ribbons of brightness woven throughout the mids and ends. These face-framing highlights were placed strategically to enhance her natural features and add depth to her overall color.

Once the lifting process was complete and we achieved the ideal level of lift, it was time to tone. I used Paul Mitchell The Demi in shades 9NB (Natural Beige) and 9G (Gold). This custom formula gave us the perfect balance of warmth and beige to enhance the natural-looking glow of her new highlights. The result? A beautiful, sun-kissed finish that looks golden, radiant, and polished.

As you can see from the before-and-after photos, her hair now has rich dimension with just the right amount of brightness around her face. I finished with a blowout to create soft waves and volume to showcase the highlights perfectly, creating a bouncy and luxurious finish.
